Somewhere with a gentle hill for sledding, easy parking, not too far from the city?

Snow, in Seattle??? Are you serious?

Try Spokane or somewhere on the Eastern side of the mountains. But if there's gonna be enough snow to do anything, the Snoqualmie Pass will probably be closed and you won't be able to get to the other side of the mountains.

Spokane is a very good city to visit, but it's totally different than Seattle.

Good Luck!!!

Snoqualmie Pass on I-90 which is 52 miles from DT Seattle....
Another GREAT place to take the kids is Mount Rainier National Park...they have a tubing run there and it is 1.5 - 2 hours away from DT Seattle.

There's a great tubing place up at snoqualmie pass, which is maybe an hour driving from Seattle. It's great for kids of all ages too as ther's pretty good skiing and a world-class terrain park.
