remember there's once he stood infront of the penalty kick & don't know what the f*** he was thinking he back off & hestitated for like 5 secs and the man'city players just ward off the ball right infront of him!!!

Take your pick from the England national teams of the past few years. Beckham, Rooney, Owen, Lampard even. Penalties have a lot to do with confidence, and the English guys lack it quite badly, especially Beckham. He missed that all-decisive penalty against Portugal in the Euro-04 Semi's, and the rest of the team missed a lot against Portugal in the World Cup. To give just one player though, Beckham...no doubt about it.

Any England player in a penalty shoot out at a major competiton.it goes to show that practicing has no influence on the outcome.well with England anyway!
Ive seen Hugo Sanchez miss a pen playin for Real Madrid a few years back now.it was left footed and he sliced it about 20 foot wide!

i would have to say Ruud Van Nistelrooy cause if you remember he took a penalty shot in the uefa champins league agaist Steau Bucharest In The Fourth round of the league, and on the fiveth round he missed another one against olympic lyon. and he also missed 3 on the spanish league. it's cause he dosent focus he just kicks with alot of power and dosent place the ball. Van Nistelrroy is the worst penalty taker in my opinion. in professional football.

It must be Clarence Seedorf. He's missed an unfair share of penalties, for Milan and the Netherlands. At crucial times no less.
