I was in a weight loss program and they give you an HCG shot, I want to know how long I should wait to take a pregnancy test if I suspect I am pregnant, because I know if I still have HCG in my system it will affect the test,it has been about 3 wks since I last got that shot. Please help me!

I think you should try hard to avoid getting pregnant when you are taking experiemental obesity treatments, such as hcg shots and ingesting other drugs/synthetic substances. In other words, if you are having unprotected sex, I think you should get off these freaky obesity treatments (which I think are bad for you anyway).
Appetite supressants, hcg shots, very low calorie diets and all the other stuff that goes with it cannot be good for a developing fetus.
Plus, if your goal is to lose weight, then why do you want to get pregnant?? Pregnancy involves weight gain and looking/feeling like a beached whale!

How does a pregnancy hormone shot help you lose weight? The pregnancy hormone slows down your metabolism, digestive track and increases your appetite. Just VERY confusing to me! But I would think 3 weeks ago it would be gone since it wouldn't have been going up like a normal pregnancy. Still don't get the HGC hormone for weight loss though!

i think it is like 14 days or so, you might be ok to take a test.
