Excellent question. They are a violent country. All the beheadings and stonings come from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, yet they are both hailed as friends to the US.
It is ridiculous they are evil and are probably hiding Bin Laden.

YES, there are "people" watching Pakistan real close and
the president of Pakistan has been helping the US in the war on terror, but you will not see much of it in the News Media. But in some ways, Pakistan does look like they are playing the US, but you can't jump to conclusions yet.

Pakistan is a country who's president went through many assassination attempts for assiting in the capture of terrorists in pakistan and openly exchanging information about their where abouts with the United States.
They have been one of the only countries that responded to "your either with us or against us"

You always have to keep watch of everyone, but they have our support for now

You mean you question Pakistan's support of America's "war on terror"? After all, they are paying face by their proposal of building that fence along their border with Afghanistan. I guess they took a lesson from the U.S. in fence-building.

But one might also ask the question, why doesn't the Pakistani government arrest the known terrorists who live within their borders? Hmmm...

Of course they're playing the US. If Musharraf really supported the US (and I mean FOR REAL), he would have been dead a long time ago. Plus, he's known to condone terrorism inside India, and I think he provides logistics as well.

No country in the Middle East can be trusted. They will eventually turn on us like Iraq did.

it is part of the whole middle east culture to play both sides of the fence for personal gain.this is why today's ally is tomorrow's enemy.

i don't trust them. they are another nation led by a dictator. they deny US/NATO troops acess to their country. they are wanting to violate human rights by planting more landmines. not very diplomatic in relations with their neighbors.
