i just strarted my period and i dont want to use pads so i dont konw how to put tamons on so it u konw i would reallt lik to know

There will be instuctions in the box of tampons. I never used them because they made me nauseaus to wear them , but most women wear them fine.
The tampon itself is a cotton "plug" in a tube (cardboard or plastic) and another tube is below it nestled inside the bottom. You push the top tube up inside your vagina and then push up the outer tube to slide the tampon further in. You then pull both tubes out and a small cotton string will be left hanging out. You use this to pull the tampon out when you are done with it.
The few times I have used them, I found it easiest to put them in while standing with one leg propped up on the tub or toilet. It was also easier if I spread the vaginal lips open with one hand first.
They also have some you just push in with your fingers, they don't have a tube. I would buy a multi-size pack and some pantiliners so you can try different sizes and see which one is easiest to insert and still absorbent enough. If it leaks, the pantiliners will protect your clothes. I would start with the smallest first if you are not sexually active yet it will be the easiest to insert.

When you buy the box, there are instructions for their usage on the inside. It's very simple.

go to your mom and ask her. but ify ou are to afraid or somthing just use pads or read the insrctions in side of the tampon box!

well, i use tampons. but you just have to experament.
