and what do you do?
I'm working, line cook in a North WI supper club. We have 4 cooks on, when on a normal nite we only have 2. I always work New Year's Eve... do you?

Sorry you have to work New Year's Eve, and on top of that, in such a hectic and uncomfortable job like a restaurant kitchen. :( I guess I shouldn't complain about my own situation -- I work in a retail store, and we're open until 5p.m. on New Year's Eve. We probably won't actually get out of there for 30 to 40 minutes after we close, so it'll probably be close to 6 p.m. before I actually get home. It's certainly not an ideal schedule, but now I realize it could also be worse.

At any rate, I hope New Year's Eve goes well and quickly for you, with no major problems in the kitchen. Here's to a happy 2007 for both of us! :)
