Yes, most people are invested in their clubs. Emotionally, because of the amount of time and energy devoted to their club. But also financially, if you have ever paid to see a game or bought their merchandise. There would be no clubs without the fans!

When saying we, and our club, as in: We were fortunate against Watford to get 3 points, or our club needs to tighten up defensively or face losing more games, it shows ownership, and not in the physical sense, but that you feel part of that club, you have a vested interest in it and share in it's feelings of delight and sorrow

it means how u feel toward "your" team in other words the team you like.
If I say "our team will win" I'm saying that the team I like or have sympathy to will win
