How do I put music on my MP3 player?

Ho do I do it?I just got one for christmas and I am soo confused.If you know the answer please put it in directions from number 1 untill how many it takes.Thank you for tha help in advance.

P.S. I have a 512MB nextar MP3.

There are quite a bit of Nextar MP3 players. What's the make/model?
