i had the sims 2 on my parent's PC and it looked great, then I bought myself a laptop and it has more memory than the PC, but the graphics are worse. What do I need to do to make it look better? It looks pixelated and kinda blurry

That is the problem of your video card. It is the same problem on my boyfriend's computer. He has 270 Gigs on his computer, yet the game will sometimes look blurry and pixelated. You can buy video cards at stores such as Best Buy, Circuit City, or any other ELECTRONICS store. They do not sell them at Wal-Mart, so just go on ahead to the electronics store. There is a port in your computer where you should be able to input the card. However, since you have a laptop, you will want to bring it to either Geek Squad or call your computer's provider and have them send a technician to do it. You must be EXTREMELY computer saavy to be able to do it yourself. Good luck.

You probably need a better video card or something. My Sims 2 looks that way on my PC too, but I don't know where to even get a video card or how to put it in.
