Well, as mentioned by some previous responders, Jay Fiedler and Craig Krenzel do seem to be quite smart book-wise. I say Ryan Fitzpatrick from the Rams is also quite smart. He is the only quarterback from Harvard in NFL history and did score high on the Wonderlic test, reportedly completing it in record time. Others who have scored high on this test are Drew Henson, Drew Bledsoe, Brian Griese and Eli Manning. As for Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, yes they are extremely bright when it comes to football, but outside of that I'm not sure how intelligent a conversation you could have with them. Moreso in the case of Peyton, he seems like he knows only football.

Tom Brady of the New England Patriots......... he's got two superbowl MVPs and ever since he's been on the team he has been dominant. Not only does he deal with some of the worst wide recievers in the league but he is also putting up his best rushing numbers of his career. Tom Brady knows how to win. The patriots would be nothing without him.

jay fiedler would probably be one of the smartest he was an ivy league QB and he sort of looks like Ross Perot. the dumbest QB would have to go to Michael Vick. He has been in the falcons system for two or three years now and they have to keep dumbing down the play calling so he doesn't mess it up. If you look you look up jock in the dictionary than there should be a big picture of Michael Vick.

Its a tie between Bruce Smith and Lawrence Taylor. If large Bruce or L.T. have been coming after me i could straight away curl up right into a fetal place and rock decrease backward and forward at the same time as sucking my thumb and asserting "this is in straightforward terms a dream" many times. replace! I basically had a picture in my techniques of this going on and a single tear made its way down my cheek.

If you're talking fooball smart, I gotta go with Tom Brady. However, as far as book smart goes, you have to remember good ole' Craig Krenzel. I know he was not on a roster this season, but he'll be back. And you have got to remember, the guy was a molecular genetics major at OSU untl he graduated.

Peyton Manning, simply the best. The way he reads the defense coverages, the pre snaps changes, and his prefect passes.
I know you`ll say, yes but he doesnt have a SB ring, the team wins SB, not the player, Trent Dilfer has a ring, and he sucks

Tiki Barber. Tiki is the most well spoken player in the NFL. His charisma alone speaks for its self. Even Pam Oliver said she would need a thesaurus in order to interview Tiki. He and his brother have their own book out that they wrote(children's books). Even when John Madden speaks of him, he not only talks about his athletic skills but his intelligence as well!

I would definitely say Tom Brady. I don't think his physical ability is anything but average, but he makes up for it in the brain department. When you make good decisions on the field, you win, much like in business.
