I have sold rabbits to a pet store
They should pay about 1/2 what they sell it for
You may have to call every pet store in town to find a willing buyer

Most stores (like the big chain pet stores) will only take animals from USDA certified breeders. Even a lot of the little mom and pop type pet stores generally have breeders that they buy from already. If you are going to ask around at any of them, best to aim for the pet stores that are owned by an individual rather than a corporation. Personally, I think your best bet would be to put up fliers at some of the bigger pet stores asking less than what they sell them for and they should go a lot quicker. Putting an ad in the paper will cost so much that you wont have anything but money gone out of your pocket to show for your troubles. Put up ads though, and try to put a picture of them on it (remember, cute sells... lol). Good luck!

Stores, as my sister found out, usually have a specific breeder that they always buy from. They aren't usually willing to buy from you. I would say that the best idea is to put posters up around town, and possibly an ad in the newspaper. You should sell them for about half of what the store sells them for.

Good Luck!

We have a guinea pig (terms of getting her from friend is that he gets a baby from her), and I talked to our Mom and Pops store. They will take them in exchange for In Store Credit. Works for us...we will get food and bedding for mom...buy from them anyway.

I suggest separating mom and dad...or be prepared to give the babies to friends. You will never profit from breeding.

Good Luck!

Depends on the store. You know that you can go to the store and ask them right?
