strange.. i was wondering the same thing the other day. i guess whatever the parents or the spouse of the person in need of the kidney would be willing to pay for it.. the hospitals and stuff themselves dont actually buy it.
this one guy gave his kidney to his best friend, and the guys parents ended up giving the kidney donor guy $5,000 cuz they were so happy.
so i guess, it just depends on who you wanna give it to.
