For the lyrical dance, I recommend going somewhere, turn on the song, and just dance to the song and really try to interpret the music. If you just let your body get into it, its guarenteed you will find some moves.

My advice would be to think of a jazz and lyrical dances you have already done, what moves did you really like out of those dances? Start with those, you can take moves from other dances and use them to inspire your own moves. Put together some steps from other dances and just change them to work with your routine.

For the lyrical think of how the music makes you feel, you should really try to be expressing mood and emotion as you are dancing out the lyrics of the song. Just let your body go and see what happens....put it some good turns, leaps and extensions throughout your "feeling" type moves.

A couple of other tricks is: to repeat steps to the reverse side, make sure you use the entire stage, move upstage and downstage, not just side to side, make a circle with turns and leaps, and use diagonals.

Good luck!

i really like catchsteps in lyricals... idk why but they look pretty

also try a layout for the jazz and the lyrical, and a toe rise for the jazz

slow extensions for the lyrical,
for jazz, take a classic pirouette and add a funky motif to it
remember, you can always repeat a phrase backwards if you need to =)

good luck!!

you could try stunts but not too many because they should not be too hard if you don't have much time.
