Research the location. Recorder of Deeds usually in county seat courthouse. You can learn who presently owns it, can contact them. Check into property taxes owed/delinquent. Whether or not it is in probate and who are the heirs.....good luck, I can see you living there!!

Go 2 Your Local Town Hall maybe Back Taxes are owed on it & U might be able 2 get it that way

go to your town hall or county office to see who the legal owner is and if thier are back taxes on it. if the taxes have not been paid then you should be able to pay them and own it. may also be up for auction due to back taxes so you could get it that way too. if their are no back taxes the town or county clerk should be able to tell you who owns it and how you can contact them to see about buying it from them.
