unfortunately , she married a person who then became king, or was the daughter of a king,,, women really havent yet realized nor took places of power on their own accord

Mostly because she was family member or she was chosen out of a harem. But when the Pharaohs started taking themselves to a god like status The Queens had to be related in some way to the Pharaohs Like a sister or a cousin............................
