You should set up a video camera in their bedrooms and sell the video on the Internet!
OK that was a JOKE!
I am sure it makes things a little difficult around the house for the parents, but it is also natural. Just because the parents married doesn't mean that the two kids should be forbidden from each other. they aren't blood. It just makes your job harder. If they are attracted to each other and want to get together, you aren't going to be able to stop it. If you forbid them from "dating", they will find a way to be sneaky about it, and that will be even worse. Just make sure they have separate bedrooms on opposite sides of the master bedroom.

I was dating a guy when I was 19 then after about 4 years our parents started going out it was gross!!!! They didn't care we were talking about getting married well it ended up they got married after less than a year (it only lasted 10 months) and my boyfriend/step brother moved back to New York and now holidays and any family get together where he is there is just real odd and uncomfortable now we are both married with kids but I think we have a lot of resentment towards our parents and I know I hate my dad but for some reason I hate his mom more for what they both did and the situation they put us in.

yeah. step children esp ones who come together when they're older aren't going to think of each other as siblings. Esp!!! if they don't have a half sibling to share between them. They'll either hate each other or like each other, and when you're teen agers in close proximity liking each other also means hormones. i would
1. depending on the design of your house, create a separate room for one of them in the basement or something, a room where if someone tries to get to in the night you can hear them
2. have them go to the same school, continuously introduce them as siblings. this MIGHT help as their peers will first think "yuck, why are you interested in your sister/brother" and might put some pressure on them to not hang around each other.
3. deal with it. there are a lot of cases of step siblings marrying, which makes sense as they're in close proximity, know each others families well, etc. It could be worse.

There are not blood, and then you as a parent have put them in such a situation. I just it would be very awkward at thanksgiving and christmas family dinners if you step kids hooked up and had kids....lmao You folks could have your own sitcom, or lifetime movie....lol

why should that be a problem? they are not related by blood. they were not brought up to respect each other as siblings.
what if they had met first and then the parents fell in love. would you have sacrificed your love??

Tell them to use condoms. Teenage pregnancy sucks.

It isn't THEIR fault you married their parent, why should they be penalized? Let them go at it! They aren't blood relatives.
