He will be hanged soon because he is also accused of the gassing of of 100's of thousands of Kurds, with gas supplied by the US for that purpose.
That is the reason we are invited to believe that a 30 day, come what may, sentence will be carried out, regardless of other scheduled trials, in which it would be inevitable that the US was proved a co conspiritor.
As far as believing FOX, etc, about anything is a bit of a joke.
Sorry I strayed off your question, Why do idiots do what they do?- because they can.

That is because he was sentenced to death by hanging to be carried out within 30 days. It was in the Yahoo News. The article if not read carefully would have been misunderstood because it said something like: Sentenced to hang today.....Meaning today he was sentenced....but not hung yet. The article said he could be hung within any time during the 30 days.
Hope this helps to clarify what the idiots were talking about.

The latest word is they will do it in secret and not let anyone know until his remains have been disposed of. So maybe it has happened. They apparently think the Sunnis( Saddam was a Sunni) might get out of control if it is a public event. Like they have been for the last 2000 years, so what else is new.

This isn't about the western press or the western governments. This is about what the country of Iraq feels is best for their own nation. I don't know why people are spreading rumors, I have given up trying to outguess why some people ask the stuff they do.

Because some people have been misinformed with the date of his hanging.
His real hanging, unless something happens before then, is to be scheduled in 30 days or less.

His appeal was just turned down and now it is a sure thing. They have 30 days to complete the sentence. They just got it a little wrong.

Those people really get on my nerves.
I still have to go out and get beer, snacks, and party favors! We are gonna fire up my dad's old (gigantic) satellite dish, and try and get it on Iraqi TV!
