i would say john mayer, corrine bailey rae, india arie, the beatles, acceptance, hellogoodbye, johnny cash
if you like hip hop/ soul/ rap, you can go with Common, Visionaries, Avant, jamie foxx, bob marley, Tupac, damien marley
pop-ish beats: danity kane, fergie, gwen stefani
