If it is a matter of civil rights, yes. The ACLU has a long history of defending those whose beliefs and actions they disagree with. That's why you will see them defending Nazis and Jews, Christians and Atheists, blacks and Klansmen, etc.

While it may be a completely foreign concept to you, some place a higher value on principle and character than on making a fool of themselves in public.

No.

The ACLU likes to participate in "high-profile" cases. Their preferred type of cases usually set some kind of legal precedent. If your case is similar to any others, it will not usually get a second glance.

For this reason, ACLU likes to cherry pick cases based on whether or not they will get publicity and/or the defendants are being unfairly prosecuted by society, such as NAMBLA, LGBT, minorities, etc etc.

If you want the ACLU to take a case involving a mid-fifties white man with a speeding ticket, I doubt anythings' going to happen.

Through general observation, it seems to me that most of the cases the ACLU gets involved in are tied to civil rights. The other issues should not matter.

it is so unhappy, yet we are all born with a sin nature and a few human beings nurture this nature without turning to the single that could turn our sin natures into Christ's nature....that one and in straightforward terms is Jesus Christ. basically because of the fact a priest is think to steer human beings to God, would not propose that all of them do what God desires of them. Judas grew to become into between the 12 apostles and look what he did!! do no longer enable one priest or all people sway you from God or perhaps from going to church. there'll constantly be people who cover in the back of their professions and nonetheless do evil. Like a wolf in sheeps clothing. come across a church the place the priest, preacher preaches the whole council of God and parent all you hear with God's word. Be alert and pray for people who save on with evil and particularly for their victims. And remember the main secure place to be is interior the want of God. God bless

You did not state any of the merits of your case. ACLU will take cases that involve constitutional issues, and even then they will pick and chose the ones they will handle.

Well obviously you are white so why do you need the ACLU? You already possess the inherent advantage of being a white male in a white male dominated society. STOP WHINING.

Depends on what your case is. If your civil rights are at stake, none of the things you just mentioned make any difference. Alas, I know that is not why you REALLY asked this question. ;-)

You're outta luck, buddy. Unless there was a black person involved... then just maybe Al "Cracker Barrel" Sharpton or Jesse "Illegitimate daughter" Jackson could help you out.
