Although I am really happy about the weight loss and feel great - I am really not happy about the loose skin that has remained on my neck - under my chin. I really couldn't face surgery - is there anything else I can do? I am 48 and female

Look straight up, stretching your neck as far back as possible without strain. Do the same tothe left, and to the right, and down. This increases your skin's elasticity. I know it seems like you're stretching it, but it stimulates your skin to tighten. Also, you might look into what vitamins help with skin elasticity, I know there are a few that do, but not off the top of my head. These are the only non-surgical methods I've read about to tighten up skin around the neck and chin area.

surgery is the fastest option and the most effective, although u can tighten the muscles around your neck by pulling silly faces. And u can also u firming cream to help and u might notice a small differebce. but unfortunatly the skin will never go back like it used to without surgery. Well done 4 loosing the weight though :)

I know that fresh fruit and veggies has those skin tightening vitamins that you cannot buy in a bottle. I hope it was not the Atkins diet. I have two friends that went on the Atkins diet and they lost a lot of weight but they had saggy skin. Eat Oranges, apples, broccoli, etc... Good luck

congratulations on the weight loss. Unfortunately, your age would indicate that the skin is stretched out and is not going to rebound, the only way to get rid of that "wattle", is plastic surgery, under chin tucks are done all the time and are not all that uncomfortable.

48 is a bit late if you want nature to take its course, so surgery or getting that weight back are the only options I can think of. Look at the good side of getting the weight back, lots of chocolate. :)

I think you may have to look at surgery to cut it away. I believe that excessive loose skin will never disappear. Well done for losing the weight.
