He doesn't actually say ultimatum, but my mind keeps thinking of that for some reason...

yes, I've given once an ultimatum to my grand mother not to speak like she used to do with me. She is a crazy religious person and she thinks I'm a huge sinner because I have boyfriends. Well, she ignored that ultimatum and now there have been five years since I spoke to her last, (and when I did, I told her that I forbid her ever to come near me, to come on my wedding if I'll ever get married and to come close to my child if I'll ever have one). I don't hate her, I just deleted her from my life, she hurt my feelings like no stranger ever did.

Yup, If i went through therapy for my addiction my cheating ex of 9 years... well then it was 7 would get back together with me... but yeah found out she was cheating on me for 7 years... :) Needless to say i didnt give her any ultimatums back ;)

I don't give ultimatums...the worst I did was throw out all of an ex's stuff over the balcony of my apartment while he was at "work". Subtle hint to him.

yes, once, i had a female friend who just
hounded & stalked me for years because she
wanted to have sex, so i gave in, we had
a sexual relationship only for a few months,
after awhile she gave me an ultimatum,
either have a romantic relationship with her
or else!! & she had that crazy look on her face!!
I told her good-bye in a nano second & that
was that !! That was in 2002 & haven't been
with a woman since !!
i'm too reserved nOw & very cautious!!
She really scared me !!

Both. I don't give them unless I'm deadly serious & I don't take it well when I get one either. In that case, I'm likely to react badly even to the point of cutting off my nose to spite my face.
