Dragon Tears: Good or bad?

Question

I'm reading Dragon Tears by Dean Koontz. Have any of you read it? How was it. It's dragging on a bit in the beginning and I'm curious if it will turn out decent or if I shouldn't bother.

I thought it was a brilliant book. I never found that it dragged - but people have different tastes.
