You can rent VCD, and DVD from Laserflair, VideoEzy and some neighbourhood video rental shops.
You can buy DVD movies from lots of places like Blue Max, TS Group, Poh Kim, VideoEzy, etc
But if you want code 1 movies, you can get them mostly from Laserflair and Blue Max.

You may want to take note that rental from Video Ezy is on a per item basis.

If you intend to watch a heap of movies or, get this, complete TV box sets, may I suggest signing on with Gramaphone.

Arguably they have fewer outlets, but at SGD$30 per month, you can rent unlimited box-sets and movies. Furthermore, there is no late fee but you cannot grab new movies until you return the last ones you took out.

Not too shabby.

It gets better when you sign up for 3 months. Sadly, you have to be a PR or a citizen to take up their plan.

Yes, you may wish to visit Video Ezy!

They're the only video shop which offers wide range of vcds, dvds and videos for rental and purchasing purposes.

You can choose to order your purchase or rent the dvds and vcds online, I think Video Ezy will deliver your goods to your doorstep. Visit http://www.videoezy.com.sg/planandprices.aspx for their plans and prices for monthly rental services.

Kindly visit http://www.videoezy.com.sg/locations/stores.aspx for more info on their store locations in Singapore.

Have fun!
