Yes, you look and read the legislation that has been pasted since the so called "War on Terror". The Real ID Act H.R. 418, Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act of 2006 H.R. 6054 they have all eroded our Constitutional rights and have put more power into the executive branch also eroding checks and balances. What scares me is that some people don't seem to realize it. It has went too far.

The war on terrror will not be over untill all extremists are put in check and know they can't kill people over religion. The middle east hates the western civilazation because we have freedom and let our people believe in what they want to believe in, and they're scared that we may influence their countries. They feel that they are in a holy war with us because we may ruin their religion. In my opinion, its not fair for the innocent people in the middle east be injured or killed in the world cleansing of sanity. But it also was not fair for the people in the world trade center, the hijacked planes, the people in the pentagon, the bombings in london, and all people in the U.S Embassy Bombings to die. These people are crazy. The war has not gone to far, ISLAM has gone to far.

It went too far as soon as it turned from terrorists to Iraq. When you stop fighting terrorists in a war on terror, then you've definitely have gone far.

Ironically, there are plenty of terrorists in Iraq now. Most of them weren't there BEFORE we invaded, though. I'd also have to argue that you've gone too far when you are CREATING the problem you are supposedly fighting against!

It hasn't gone far enough. We are tip toeing around Iraq. We need to unleash hell and get it over with. Like pulling a band-aid. Swift and blinding. That way it only hurts for a little while.

In my opinion, not nearly far enough. We have been trying to wage a politically correct war and that will fail for certain. It is past the time to absolutely crush enemies. When you are forced to fight, you fight with all you have until your enemy is unable to get to their feet and continue. After they have been crushed, you may then offer to help them to their feet. To do less is hardly worth the effort.
