Can I get pregnant while on my period?

Question

I've had my period for two days and the whole time I've had sex. But yesterday the flow stopped and this morning there was this brownish colored stuff instead of blood. What is it and why has my period stopped?

there is a chance that what you are experiencing was not a menstrual period but implantation bleeding ( the embryo burrowing into uterine lining) normally implantation bleeding is different than a normal period (lighter, shorter, etc.) if you take your basal body temperature and it is high, you have a good chance of being pregnant. that, or go get a blood test at the doctor's.

if you really were on your period.. the chances of getting pregnant are slim. but still there. good luck.

Brownish stuff could just be your period ending. As for the pregnancy, yes, you can get pregnant at absolutely ANY time. Your chances are lower since you were on your period, but it can still happen.

You may have gotten pregnant because you can release an egg during your period. Remember everything from ovulation is coming out evev an egg. If you are not pregnant this time, don't have sex during your period anymore this is not a good birth control method .Hope this helps. All you can do now is wait.

I got pregnant on the 3rd day of my period but miscarried at 5 weeks. You could test with a hpt 19 days after the day you think you became pregnant.

i dont think so because thats what a period is for isnt it? we bleed because thats the lining for the fertilized egg but there is a small possibility that you could be like 10%

Ya you can.I bled what i thought was my period,but i found out i was pg.9 wks along.
