Have installed (and reinstalled) WMP11 and now get "error 15" when I try to play Yahoo! music videos. Seems like quite a few others have the same problem, but I haven't found an answer yet. Has anybody got WMP11 to work??
Have tried all the usual solutions. Same in IE and Firefox.
Win XP Home SP2, Firefox 2, IE7, Norton Internet Security, 8Mbps broadband. No other problems.

I have Win XP Pro sp2, avg anti virus ie7 and wm11 works fine for me. I can watch yahoo videos with ease. I have basic dsl from earthlink. Maybe you need to download additional software such as a divx player? Remove wm11 and then do a system check. Start > my computer > right click on your main hard drive and select properties > error checking > make sure both check buttons are checked restart to start test may take up to an hour or so. After this reinstall wm11. Good luck.

sorry to hear that you are having problems with your media player 11, my copy of media player 11 works very well this is installed with IE7 even that's working well, and when I visit yahoo music I am able to play music video, no problem there,
So I don't know why you are having difficulties in playing yahoo music for it does not need windows media player to play music, yahoo have their own music player,
all I can suggest is uninstall the media player 11 using add/remove programs once this is done go back to yahoo music and see if you can get yahoo music player working.
just a thought and that is yahoo music needs the popup blocker set to allow popups to be enabled to work,
once you have this sorted out re-install windows media player 11
good luck with this just take your time and dont rush anything.
