as a dude i prefer my woman to use the 'pon,the pad seems so nasty,all smearin the mess around...eeeeeyyyyooooo

OMFG TAMPONS! before everything i hated them. They damage to be put in and stuff like that. I went decrease back to pads and OMG i felt like i replaced into wearing a diaper. So upon getting used to tampons those are the basically issues i exploit. yet now that i'm on birth control i dont extremely use both

Might seem strange to you but there are alternatives to pads and tampons. I use a menstrual cup which is an internal device that holds the blood inside. It's odorless, more comfortable, more reliable, more ecological, healthier (no more toxic shock or infections) and last but not least it's cheaper. I'll never switch to pads or tampons again. Never ever.

Pads sometimes feel really uncomfortable, like a diaper. But I prefer them over tampons. I only use those when I go swimming.

I stopped using pads almost 20 years ago...pads are so uncomfortable. Tampons give you a feeling of freedom.

I prefer tampons. You can still swim, wear a thong (but cut the string a bit first, ladies) and feel confident in wearing white. Plus, they are easier to conceal in your purse. And when you go to a public ladies room, no one hears that loud RIP as you snatch that pad and put it in your panties. And they are flushable!!!
They are great for road trips too. Plus, no one wants to feel that "woosh" every time they stand up. ICK!!!!
Less mess and it almost feels like you're not on your period in the first place, which is the point! Out of sight, out of mind!!!
Wow...maybe I should debate this subject in some National Pad vs Tampon Debate!!! lol

Tampons all the time, because pads are too much like diapers.
Only pads at night, for the first night when it's heaviest.

Tampons definitly. I like tampax pearl. They are so comfortable and SO much better then pads. On my light days I just use a pantyliner. I only wear pads at bedtime.

well i used tampons for a long time but stopped recently caused i figured the blood is suppose to drain out not stay in and i think its more cleaniness to use pads... they are pecautions with tampons. like infections, toxic shock, odor
