Could you tell me if I am using the order of parentheses and periods correctly in these sentences?

Question

1. Starski, used to chant, “To the hip hop, hip hop, don’t stop the body rock”.
2.That year he came out with the single “Jazzy Sensation” and followed it up with “Planet Rock”.
3.“We’ve been fighting for multicultural education for all these years and haven’t gotten ****, and here come these rich white gay white boys and their friends in the liberal elite, getting what they want while we’re still at the back of the bus”.

PS: I know, these are really weird sentences. I'm doing a report on an early dj.

1. No.
There should be no comma after Starski, and the period should be before the final Quote.

2. Same problem with the period as in 1.

3. Commas are unnecessary as the run on sentence doesn't need them. Same problem with the period at the end though.

2. That year, he came out with the single "jazzy sensation' and ... (period before end quote)"
3. period inside the end quote again, commas are alright
