It means God forbid you should say something that might offend anyone. So we must be "politically correct". In other words we must censor ourselves so that we don't say something that might actually be the truth.

Well, politically correct is the ahh... terminology used by people who actually have something to lose. It is using a euphemism when referring to subject matter that, during present times, could cause discontent among group(s) of people.
For example, Indian instead of desi. (tho not many indians i know care)
A big one is not saying "retard" but saying "mentally disabled"

It's a term that means, you can't say anything that would possibly offend anybody,---If you follow this term,it means you have to suppress any thought you really feel.You become a slave to any minority.It's pure BS.

i,e, when referring to "Indians" the politically correct term is "Native Americans"
