Yes, the video card is a separate piece in the Inspiron 8100...it can be upgraded, contact Dell about getting another one.

If it's still under warranty, I would say have it done by the recognised repair station so that you don't invalidate the warranty.
If it's a laptop, make sure that your body is earthed via a wrist strap specially designed to absorb the staic discharge in your body, otherwise you may burn the circuit out.

Not usually Graphics adapters with laptops are usually soldered into the motherboard. I don't think they make PCMCIA graphics adapters.

As long as there is an available slot inside of the computer to install it into there should not be a problem.

you cant replace your graohics card, the single you presently have is onboard and is probably no longer swapped out.. additionally for destiny reference a photographs card is oftentimes no longer some ingredient you regulate out in a workstation
