or if two people where born exactly the same time, would they have the same personalities ect.

They're so different because the stars are always moving. For them to be identical, they would have to be born at EXACTLY the same time, which is physically impossible for a woman's body. Instead, one is usually born after the other, most of the time by a few minutes or so, and by then, the stars have changed just enough to vary the personality that goes with them.

This is the thing that gets me about astrology :-p What does it matter when you actually left your mother's body? Even though my identical twin girls were born 1 minute apart, they were created at exactly the same time: my one egg was fertilized and then, according to how they formed in the womb (one placenta, two sacs), I know that the egg split somewhere between 4-8 days after that fertilization. So, just because the doctors happened to take Josie out, before they took Anna out 1 minute later, it does not mean Josie is actually any older... it just means when they did my C-section, that she was the easiest to get to first :-p
And yes, my girls are very different people... because who you are is determined by much more than DNA or where the stars were aligned at the time of your birth.... we're all a little more complicated than that.

Twins are usually born far enough in time to have different horoscopes. Where they are they are born VERY close together (like the Olsen twins, who have virtually the same horoscope), it may be that one twin takes on the Sun and Mars characteristics while another takes on the Moon/Venus. The Olsen twins of course do look very similar and have led almost the one life.
When people are born at exactly the same time and place, you will notice quite a lot of similarity in their tempraments, and they will have similar things happen to them at the same time. For example, my astrology teacher (female) was born close in time/place to her friend and neighbour (male). Not only do they look similar in height, build, facial structure, but they both became ballet dancers, joined the ballet on the same day, and got married and had their children around the same time as each other.

There is something called "time twins" that does happen often enough in big city hospitals. These children that are born very, very close time wise. To no ones surprise; due to being born to different families, they do not share the same personalities.

In one word, Ascendent. The rising signs of twins can be as different as a matter of degrees in the same Ascendent (being in different descants), or they can have neighboring Ascendents. Say, if the first one is born in the last descant of Scorpio and the second is born in the first descant of Sagittarius, they will have different personalities.

I believe this would be genetic, because I have two set of twins in my family. Brother/Sister Sister/Sister and the Sister/Sister was born on April 1, yes april fools day. They are all different. It seems there is a evil/good going on there. Yet they always bond well with each other. Very interesting about twins.

I have a twin sister, we are both sagittarius. We were born one minute apart and we really are different. I think that minute really makes a difference. It is physically impossible to have twins at exactly the same time (even by c-section-- I should know!).

twins are not technically born at the exact same time - one follows the other. birth time heavily influences the rising sign aspect of any personality, and moon sign also effects the overall personality. also, every person of any given sign may or may not embody every characteristic of that sign.
