ignore approximately anybody telling you you cant do it. i'm 50 too! i take advantage of a Sony A816 mp3 participant and my track come from my own cds i've got loaded into my laptop and then something is from Limewire unfastened internet site. Technically you shouldn't use it - yet anybody ordinarily does - or why could or no longer that is obtainable???? i've got no longer had any problems with it and maximum of my mp3 is from right here.

http://www.limewire.com/ is the most used free file sharing site. make sure you have anti virus running before swapping any files. the free edition of avg available from http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/ does a good job. once you have installed limewire do a search for limewire pro. then install this and delete the original. pro is faster.

don't do iTunes unless you have an iPod (not .mp3 files)
Napster is $15.00 a month but you get unlimited downloads, but if you don't pay the $15.00 every month the music on your mp3 player will not play.
The Yahoo music thing isn't bad either.
