I hate to just pitch them out, several of them are very pretty. Used to be some organizations wanted the pictures for children to do art with, but I don't know how to get in touch with them. I'd rather not recycle them, but if I must I will.

You may send used card fronts to: St. Jude's Ranch for Children, 100 St. Jude St., Boulder City, NV. 89005. They are a ranch for abused and neglected children who use recycled cards to make and sell new ones. It is a wonderful organization that would be happy to have your beautiful cards.

Find a local association for the Handicapped or Mentally Challenged, they often recycle cards or make buttons out of them to sell at fundraisers,

Try your local school board, day care centres, nursing homes, boys & girls clubs.

Museums and art galleries sometimes offer after-school programs, spring-break art programs and summer art camps for kids.

If you want, you could scan the pictures and use them to create your own cards, collages and scrapbooking backgrounds.

call your local nursing home and see if they do anything with them for arts/crafts...

I send mine to a convent, the nuns make xmas ornaments out of them and sell them.
