or does it matter?
How much taller is too tall? How much shorter is too short?
I've never dated a man shorter than me (I'm short, 5'3") but I've dated a man who was 6'5" before...

Taller, at least by a couple of inches. Preferably more. It looks better on the dance floor. I "would" date a guy who is shorter than me, but he would have to have some really great attribute to make up for the lack of height. It's totally irrelevant, however, because I've been married for 26 years. I'm 5'8" and my husband is 6'.

Men prefer to be taller than their female counterparts, because it gives them a sense of authority. They like to feel as though they can protect and are superior to their wives or girlfriends. This is natural instinct, and is usually not part of the thought process. However, if your partner is shorter, and he is ok with that, then everything's fine. Love isn't about height, is it? So, find someone you love because of who they are, not how tall they are, and if they love you as well, what's the problem??

Taller definitely, i am 5'10 and i feel way too big when i am with anyone smaller. I like a man to make me feel smaller. If i were taller i would feel as if our roles had reversed

im 5'9" and dated a man who was 5'6''
stayed with him for a couple of years actually and even though it bothered both of us we never spoke about it much but used to get upset when ppl mentioned it to us ... which they quite so often did.
it affected every aspect of our relationship, how much we did go out, where we used to go out, the way we have sex positions etc and obviously what i wore.
now i try to date ppl who are at least not shorter than 5'8"
bt its so difficult i must be living in midget land :(

I like Women shorter than me, at least a head shorter.

Petit feminine women are attractive imo, don´t like these tall skinny barge poll model type´s.

I'm the same height as my wife, 6' 2". My mother is 4'11" and my father was 6'8".

It really is up to you. What are you comfortable with?
