Is there anyone out there that actually makes money on the internat and if so ....how??

I went to these sites, and answered some surveys. Made some pretty good money doing it. Doesn't take up very much time either, and it isn't a scam. Recieved my first check a couple of weeks a go. $50 not bad for the first one.

There are a multitude of opportunities online, affiliate marketing is one (which I think is the most popular but not cheap to get started). Another is playing on-line poker (not advisable, especially if you don't have a clue on how to play poker, also illegal in the US)

yes I do. and I do it by blogging, and affiliate marketing..it is easy and with a few learning stuff you can also do it.
