Turn it upside down and try using a hair dryer to dry it up. remove the battery completely until sunday and then check the sales section for a new computer in Sundays paper. And try buying your cat one too.

How much water? If it don't work take it to radio shack or some were that fixes stuff like that. My lil sis got one for Christmas and that will probably be the same thing that will happen to hers. Tho she might spill the water herself.

dont blame the cat lol ..... pull the battery and unplug it immediately then put it in the sun or just let it dry completely before u try to fire it up ... if its really wet i would wait a week ... if u try to start it damp it will prolly ruin it for sure ...

what ever you do do not turn on your computer on if it is not. Take out the harddrive and put it in a external incloseur. The laptop is already screwed.

you might have to look forward in buying a new laptop.....there's not really much you can do with a wet laptop!!
