There is no scientific way to predict when our how (without an immanent event like a huge volcanic eruption or impact), so no need to worry. No one knows.
People have been predicting the end of the world non-scientifically for centuries, and I'm pretty sure they've all been wrong.
The best scientific guess will be in about 5 billion years when the sun exspands and vaporizes the planet.

This depends on what you define as a world. If a world is earth, then i suspect that it'll take billions of years. If a world is the human race, then i guess pretty soon. I beilive that the end of the world has nothing to do with religion. I happens because whenever there is creation, there will be an end. It's a cycle. When the world ends, something else will start, and it goes on. Not a meteor or an ice age, especially if u mean the world by the earth. Earth is formed billions of years ago by minerals in space, so it wont end by a meteor or an ice age. If world is human race, then my best guess would be nuclear. Or carbon emissions that will completely destroy the ozone. So, yes, we brought it upon ourselves. All of us will make it if you mean world by earth, but if you mean it by the human race, then pretty soon i guess. We may not even make it, unless we're talking about premature deaths. I know all these because i read.

Life has existed on Earth for over 3 billion years. What do you mean by the "end of the world"? Do you mean the end of life in general? Do you mean the extinction of mankind, or do you just mean the end of civilisation?
Unless we know what you mean, we cannot give an answer.
For instance a hit by a 1 km wide asteroid would most likely not wipe out the human race but would most likely end civilisation and put us back in the dark ages.
Even if that happened, civilisations would rise again, and quicker than before because knowledge would already be there.
If a 10km wide asteroid hit and caused human extinction, the world would go on and one day an intelligent being would evolve again.
So, you see, you have to be more precise. The physical world will not be destroyed. The world of life has existed with a few hiccups for 3 billion years. There is nothing to suggest that either scenario will end until the sun goes nova in many billions of years time.
Relax. You are safe.

According to the physicist Stephen Hawking, we are at the midway point between The Big Bang and The Big Crunch. Also, he suggests that the human race will have evolced itself into extinction by then.

At the current rate of increase of human population (doubling every 50 years) the mass of humanity will equal the mass of the earth in about the year 4175. By the year 6500 (approximately) the mass of humanity will equal the mass of the observable universe. So, draw your own conclusions....I'm betting we won't get that far.

None of those things will actualy make the world end, they may just make things very uncomfortable for us to live on it.
