what video card is best to upgrade my hp512x pc

Funny you should mention it. I just upgraded mine a few days ago and it was relatively simple. The best piece of advice was to go on-line and find out what kind of card I needed. i.e., I have an old Dell, and fortunately within the Dell site there's a support section that will tell you the specs and requirements for your PC.
Plus there was a PDF file that I downloaded that showed me the step-by-step instructions for card installation.
After that, I made sure I bought a compatible video card on-line (although I did double check with my techie friend first), and it worked like a charm.
Good luck with it, it should be fairly straight-forward.

WELL IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT YOUR RUNNING AND HOW MUCH MEMORY YOU HAVE IF I WAS YOU I WOULD HEAD OVER TO THE NEAREST PC SHOP AND DONT FORGET YOUR PC INFORMATION AH HELL TAKE IT WITH YOU THEY WILL HAVE THE ANSWERS C YA YW -1-
