heres the deal. the girls that work there, are obviously proud of what they have, and have no problem with guys flirting with them, staring, checking them out, whatever. the girls always seem to be extremely friendly, and if it really bugged them that much, they wouldnt be working there. There is obviously no nudity, or any indecent exposure that i would have a problem taking a 12 year old to. I'm assuming the 12 year old likes girls. and wouldnt mind seeing a rather attractive girl, give the kid a good woody. hell thank you for it. not to mention. their chicken wings are amazing =]

If your question is whether a restaurant with waitresses in 80's vintage shorts and T-shirts, knee high socks, and tennis shoes is appropriate for a 14 year old... he sees more in gym class and far more at the mall, so I think YES, it's fine.

Exclude the marketing hype and Hooters is just another sports bar / restaurant with better than average cleaning and service standards. The question, then, is whether any sports bar / restaurant is appropriate for a 14 year old... Throw Friday's, Chili's, and about a hundred other chains into that same class.

The monestery will still accept applicants at 14, if your goal is to screen the 14 year olds from all sexual references and suggestive clothing, but my guess is that he'll still see more than this elsewhere.

I think it is because you would not think twice about taking that same 14 year old to the beach. At least at Hooters you get treated with respect by the servers, the food is good and the atmosphere is upbeat. Hooters does serve alcohol as most better restaurants do.

No, not at all.
Unless you're at a table with a bunch of drunken pigs that are making piggy comments about the waitresses, but you can get that just about anywhere.
Plus at Hooters, if you tell the manager, he/she'll throw the pigs out.

WHEE!
Love the cheese fries! And the girls are so pleasant, what a change ~!

I think it is. As other have said, it isnt a strip club and the serive at the one I went to was better than any reastaurant before or since. Also alot of them wear leggings (?), so the Idea of bbig breasted women walking around in booty shorts is kinda misleading.

Do you mean taking a guy there? It really depends on which location you go to. Near me there are two, and one of them I would never go to, though the other isn't that bad. Go there yourself and see if you think it is ok for a 14 year old, it is really up to you.

15 now and I've been dating for three years, i think we all know what hooters is about, plus most 5 year olds have seen it due to cable. TV controls are minds and all they do is promote sex for one reason...sex sells

HOOTERS is perfect for 14 year olds, in fact it caters to those of that mind set.

why would it be inappropriate? they are not nude, they are scantilly dressed, about the same size outfit as any professional cheerleader, yet you would never have the same debate about taking them to a football game. Its just hotwings for goodness sake.
