I would hope dog food was really healthy, I would want my dog to be in the best of health. Just because it's not something we would want to eat doesn't mean it's not packed with nutrients.

If dog food was 90% nutritious and 10% junk but MacDonald was 80% nutritious and 20% junk doesn't mean MacDonalds istotally unhealthy.

I eat MacDonalds about once every 3 months so I don't think it's ruining my health.

I work at McDonald's, but I try not to eat there too often. When the urge for a burger hits, then I eat there! But McDonald's now has a nutrition guide and fact sheets that you can have. All you have to do is ask. They break down the complete nutrition, including fats, oils, carbs, and so forth. I really stopped eating there when I found out what the complete ingredients list is for what is in the nuggets. Did you know that a fish fillet is made out of Pollock and hoki fish? These are some of the things that are listed in the pamphlets. Get one and compare it to Alpo or even the cheapest dog food!

Yes it is healthier, if you served anyone McDonalds food all the time, they would die very young from clogged arteries. Even though the boxes of meat say pure ground beef, they don't look pure, they don't taste like it either. Whereas dog food has the best grades of meat and fillers put into their dog food as well as the vitamins and other nutrients, it is also more sanitary at the places where they make it.

That's probably true, as I feed my dog a special canned diet designed for diabetic pooches . My dogs food is well-balanced, loaded with nutrients and smells deliscious. McDonald's does not have a food smell and is very toxic due to all the chemicals, sodium and preservatives that are loaded into it. McDonald's is very unhealthy and is actually dangerous to your health. However I don't recommend eating dog food either because a canine has different nutritional requirements than we do.

nutritionally wise, it's probably true...at least with a quality dog food...but of course our taste buds wouldn't agree with this. I use to live on McDonald's food, and now have all kinds of bowel problems. Most of what we eat is junk...fast food, prepared frozen food, etc. You can get away with eating junk for a while when you are younger, but it will catch up to you eventually!

I heard somthing similar, but i heard it wasn't nessecarily heathlier, but it had pass more stringent cleanliness tests than any meat for human consumption. In terms of health i don't think even Atkins would consider it part of a balanced diet.
And on the subject taste... a friend lost a bet... apparently it tastes pretty good!

I believe it, McDonald's has to be the worst fast food I have ever had the misfortune of trying to choke down. I like Burger King alot better.

Certain dog foods are "healthier" than McDonalds - McDonalds food is high in fat and sugar, and low in good proteins, vitamins and minerals.

Dog food generally, is higher in protein and useful carbohydrates. So yes, it can be true.

I guess Mcdonalds Sucks in all possible ways.
And i think a dog steak with salad won't get you OBESE; Such a big percentage of America is Obse just because they can't stop pushing those filthy burgers into themselves;

There is less saturated fat per gram serving than a McDonald's burger, so theoretically speaking dog food is better.
