hey it's little betty! hope you do great in the competition! well in the Intermediate heavy jig the dancer wears heavy shoes when performing the heavy jig, and there is much loud stomping. you need to have strong shins or else you might get shin splints! Shin splints are tiny pulls of the muscle in th shin area. it could first start out as muscles then it can lead to fractures of the bone! be very cautious! you need to focus on the position of the feet so that you don't get hurt!
