Considering I leave the door open even when the family is home I dont shut the door unless we have company.

My master bath is built into my bedroom and doesn't have a door and my bedroom door is blocked from the bathroom by the walls of my double walk in his and her closets so I do not need to close that door either whether the house is empty or not....

No. when at home i never shut the door. Just got to remember when out at public toilets. Maybe its an age thing, or a lazy thing, or a just dont care thing.

No that is the only time I do shut it--My son is 3 and I have to leave it open so I can hear if he is doing something he should not be.

Yes, because right across from the bathroom is my dressing table mirror in the bedroom. Not really a reflection I want to see.

No I leave it open. My cat likes to come in anyway. No sense in leaving the door shut if no one is there.
