What is the best thing about a book, twists, shocking events? What do you think makes any type of book good?

i think when you have a story that you can relate to. i'v picked u pbooks that i think i would be interested in just by looking at the title. i love to dance, A Time For Dancing is what i picked up and it is still my favorite book! the sequel is The Farther you run. I love to run. this sequl didn't have anything to do with running, but it was because of the title that i picked it up.

I agree about having your interest peaked. It should be interesting enough that it draws you in and you get lost in it. If you can't put it down, and when you do you can't think of anything else except getting back to it, that's a good book.
