i need help guys... yesterday, firefox was ok, but when i turned on my computer the nxt day, all my bookmarks was gone, and it's like i installed a new firefox... but the problem is, i didn't.. then whenever i changed the settings, it keeps on going back when i restart it... and then, when i try to search for something in google, it won't work, the buttons won't work, like "log in" , "search", "go" .. etc.. it's so frustrating... i tried to restart my computer and i also reinstalled firefox and used system restore but nothing would work, please help!

Yeah you should download the newest version of firefox. But before that, goto C:\Documents and Settings\
You will find a folder inside it and inside that folder your bookmarks.html file. Copy that bookmarks.html file to some place safe and then delete that folder. After that install the newest version of firefox!

On existing Firefox version
Update to the latest version of firefox 2.0.0.1
Your favorites will be in c:/Program files/Mozilla/sfirefox./bookmarks
Use the import option File/import.
If you have IE favorites . IN FF browserClick BookMarks/Organise
bookmarks/File/Import/export option.
