The best person to ask of would be a Rabbi. Ask him why did people hate Jesus and his Apostles, some 1900 years ago. The Apostles lacked any formal education, especially in Judaism, yet they were going house to house telling their fellow brethren that the traditions, holiday observances, and rituals that dating back hundreds of years were no longer valid.
Worse, they were claiming that this Jesus, who also had no formal religious education, was the Messiah. To them, this couldn't be true, as Armageddon and the destruction of the enemies of the Jews (false religions) had not taken place. Further, highly educated individuals such as Saul of Tarsus had repeated showed them to be false and a cult. He often stood by while those of this cult were legally stoned to death.
Does any of this sound familiar? The last thing that anyone wants to hear is that their traditions and customs, handed down for generations may not be correct in God's eyes. They will do anything to stop such teaching, bringing forth authorities on the subject to prove their case. Are you glad they were not successful 1900 years ago?
Now, ask yourself this:
If Christendom is right and the JWs wrong, why does Christendom promote a man made observance, based on pagan beliefs, over one Christ did say to keep? Further, why is it the only JWs, as a whole, from the age of 12 on up, know exactly what day the is, both in the current and the ancient Jewish calendars? Is the man made observance more important than a true Christian one? If nothing else, why are they not doing both?

It is true that Jehovah's Witnesses are not loved by everyone.
http://jw-media.org/newsroom/human_rights.htm
Some people hate Jehovah's Witnesses out of ignorance, or over some misunderstanding. A few may have had a bad personal experience with an individual who claimed to be a Jehovah's Witness, and prejudicially extended their animus to this entire Christian religion.
However, it seems that the majority of anti-Witness hatred is motivated by religious intolerance and bigotry. A few may even be motivated against their Christian worship by the unseen 'god of this system of things', Satan the Devil.
(2 Corinthians 4:4) the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers
Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

I'm not a Jehovah Witness and I don't hate Jehovah Witnesses. I can find better things to hate than a religious group that neither wishes me nor has done me any harm.

hate is a strong word. People dislike them because they tend to force their beliefs on others and they also believe that if you are not a Jehovah Witness that you will go to hell and that they are the 'true' religion. Basically they think they are better than other religions.

I don't hate anybody or anything.
But...I'm not at all fond of JW's.
Example: A month ago, two of them came to our door, my wife answered...now, my wife is far too polite to just say, "go away and never come back," so she took their brochures but didn't invite them in. Two weeks later, they came back again -- I answered the door, they asked for my wife. I told them she was just being polite, but that we had no interest in their religion, they should keep their magazines, and please don't bother us any more. Guess what -- yesterday, they came back again. I answered the door, they asked for my wife. It was the same two as before...I told them that I had asked them nicely not to come back again, and so I wasn't going to be nice anymore. I told them to get off my property immediately or I would have them arrested for trespassing. They clearly don't get the message! If they come back again, I'm calling the police, plain and simple.
They think they have some marvelous truth that they just HAVE to share -- but they just have a different version of the same superstitious nonsense that every other religion is peddling...problem is, with the exception of the mormons, none of the others peddle it at my door at 8AM. That's why I don't like them.

People hate JW's because they tell you what to do,
they wont let you be yourself,
if you do something wrong they dissfellowship you and wont let you talk to anyone in their religion not even your parents,
they push their religion on you when you don't want to hear it and if you tell them no they stick their foot in the door
they don't celebrate holidays or birthdays
they believe they are perfect and everyone else is wrong or to worldly

Well I don't hate them but I know that sometimes they don't know how to take no for an answer. When they come to my door I am always very polite but I do tell them that trying to convert someone to their religion is not gods will. It shouldn't matter what religion we are all gods children.

Because they open a window people don´t want to look through.
Truth hurts and a lot of things the JW´s teach is based on Bible hard facts and rules.
Anything which may disturb the boring comfortable cylce of every day life is disliked.

'Hate' is a strong word.
Nevertheless, I do HATE the Watchtower. I do not hate the people who have been hoodwinked by the organization... but I do pity them.
I choose not to follow ANY religion that preaches fear, guilt and divisiveness and the Watchtower is definitely guilty of these things.

For the same reason the Nazis hated them, they are non-conformists to the accepted traditions and ways of life.
