I would have to say New York(the people that I have meet from there anyway). They don't go out of their way to do anything for anyone.

I've never been to California but from all of the people I've met from there, I'd say they were the rudest by far.
Of the states I've been in, I've gotten the worst cold shoulder from Texans---much worse than the state I grew up in, New Jersey! Actually, folks from south Jersey are very friendly people.

I find it's not nice to generalize about the people, but I can say where I have been treated most rudely. (I don't mean to imply that those places have the rudest people, just that I've had the worst experiences with them.)
I was treated pretty rudely in Georgia during two experiences there. It left me never wanting to go back there, ever. I also have had really awful interactions with some folks who were Canadian, although it happened here in the U.S. and not in Canada.

on average? that's tough. hollywood/cali has a bunch of satanists..
there's a ton of masons in detroit, nashville.. most major cities...
hard to say really 'which state'...
so many ways to define 'worst'; satanists can still be civil & not care too much about their sister. having alot of money/power & not using it for the good - one could say was demoral.. deplorable..
who knows?

As someone who moved around a lot while on Active Duty with the Military -- the worst reception to Military that I noticed was in the State of California.

I've been to several states. I have alot of respect for African American's (many in my family) but when I went to Alabama they were the rudest people I have ever met in my entire life.I can't believe how mean they were. I will never ever step foot in that state again because of that.

There is no such state! Every state and every country and every continent on this globe have some really messed up people in it. So let's not go there OK? That's how wars start! That's how you get one city, state, countries and continents starting wars! If you don't have anything positive to write, stay off the computer as a whole because just by you writing this, whatever state you're living in, why don't we start there as far as the worst people. Damn and you had to mess it up for your state didn't you? By the way, what state do you live in? I sure hope it's not mine!

I've met some of the nicest people in almost every state I've been in and that includes New York. Why pick the worst? I look for the best people in every place I go. I'd guess there are some bad people too in every place I've been, but looking for the best is more fun. I'd guess there is lots of good in you too.

Well, I've lived in NY & Florida & Florida people I find to be nicer. But my family & I were driving through several states & we got pulled over for a light that didn't work in Rhose Island. Instead of the cop saying please get out of your car, he said to my brother in law Get out of the car you f-ing monkey
