Choose one of the following topics:
1. Some scholars have used Frankenstein as a central piece in their argument against the development of cloning. Others argue that the problem was not Victor Frankenstein's scientific methods but with his responses with his creation- that we should develop cloning technology but use it wisely. Debate whether the novel is either "for" or "against" cloning. Support your argument with passages from the book.
2) Discuss the role that nature plays in Shelly's novel. Include examples that support your answer.
3) Analyze Mary Shelly's use of setting throughout the novel. Why, for example, does she use the Arctic setting for Victor Frankenstein's final confrontation with is creation.
4) Compare Victor Frankenstein with monster he created. In what ways are their life experiences similar? In what ways are their life difference?
Use the second source for an example of a Frankenstein paper.

You could tell the Frankenstein story from the monsters point of view, perhaps. From the last day of the mind's first life to the end of the story.
Peace!

Write about it's metaphors. The 'creatures' alienation and persecution for being different. The longing for acceptance... The underlying themes, not the details. Get a cliff's notes/sparks notes. ;)

Children don't ask to be born... and Frankenstein's Monster was no exception. Frankenstein was not a good parent to his "child."

You could go with the dual nature of man in it. Creativity, destruction, ego centric, ...etc. Or even how society rejected the creature simply on how it looked. You have many paths to choose from grasshopper.
