I believe that both male and female relationships should be respectful of others when they are in public. Some may think its okay and others offensive so less is better in public no matter who you are.
Always have that courtesy towards others.
thats just what I believe.

I don't have a problem with gay people showing light affection in a public place, like holding hands or a quick kiss on the cheek.
Nor do i have a problem with heterosexual couples doing the same.
I don't think it should be allowed to get out of control. Especially with young children able to see it.

If you dont like it, dont watch.
How would you react if someone came and said you cant show affection to your partner because you were too ugly, and it made them feel sick to watch you?
I am not gay, but I dont see any reason why they cant express affection in public
{edit} for vern7us, below:
Leviticus 20:13 If a man lie also with mankind, as he lie with a woman, both of them have commited an abomination:
abomination = to'evah
In the original Hebrew, the word is _to'evah_
to'evah is used very few times in the bible and most scholars agree that the 'more correct' translation would be _ritually unclean_
As I say, it is used very few times....other uses of to'evah include eating pork and eating shellfish.... both of these are *equally abominable* as homosexuality.
Have you had a shrimp salad recently?

I dont think that we should focus on homosexuality as the problem. I do not agree with lude acts of public affection. I am a real affectionate hetrosexual female, but I try not to grope and hang on my boyfriend in public. I believe that this is tasteless and disrespectful not only to the others watching in disgust, but also to my boyfriend. I believe that affection is better showed when you share it with the one you love in a private matter. Yes holding hands and a quick smooch hello, goodbye etc are ok, but minimize the tongue action and caressing etc for behind closed doors.

Hell make them do like everyone else get married (civil union) and pay the federal income tax marriage penalties. And go through divorces like everyone else.
As far as in public holding hands and smooching. No! They need to respect other's rights. But then I don't approve of that with man and wife (or girlfriend) in public either.
Just show mutual respect for other's feelings! That is the key point.

theres a time and place for everything, pda's like that in the grocery store i dont want to see it, at the club could care less, not talkin about holdin hands,or an arm around ea other but the kissing, and grab *** stuff. Homosexual relationships as a whole dont bother me, cant help who u fall in love with. think they should be allowed civil marriages. Seems hypocritical for a church to sanction it though

This is a Free Country. I'd rather see people showing love then showing hate. To each his/her own. Who are we to JUDGE? I know I'm not GOD. So many people go to church on Sunday and act like their such good Christians. Then the rest of the week they judge and stab others in the back. By the way I'm a straight woman, and I believe Love is wonderful no matter what the sex.

I think Homosexual people should remember common courtesy and decency, and not go too far in public. The same applies to Heterosexual people too! Holding hands, a quick kiss and cuddling are all nice things to see, but I don't really want to watch anyone playing tonsil tennis in the street!

I don`t even like to see them holding hands. I also don`t like to see too much affection in public by heterosexuals. A quick kiss is ok or a hug, keep it private and behind closed doors. I hate to see couples snogging each others faces off and groping each other, it`s horrible and unnecessary.

I am one that am not bothered by a gay relationship. True, I don't want to see a lot of PDA's....but I dont want to see that in a straight relationship either. I don't mind a kiss from either gay or straight couples, but long, elaborate PDA's are a poor choice in either case.
