Naughty questions today. I like! I like!
I keep a score sheet. We're pretty even.
I love giving as much as receiving.
Being honest though - RECEIVING is so nice.

This is the first year I didn't have any money for buying gifts. I was truly bothered that I couldn't get the people all the things that I was thinking would be perfect for them. I also didn't receive any gifts, ironically probably due to the fact that I told everyone I wouldn't be buying anything.
In any case, not getting a gift was a little unmotivating, but not being able to give any figts broke my heart.
So I guess I answer the questions which is worse, not giving or not receiving? Not giving.

It feels better. Thats pretty much how I am. I gave away my clothes to my cousins in Mexico and i got stuck with a bunch of really old pants and shirts. O well I guess its a 50/50 kinda thing if it was better to give then there would be a lot of people receiving, so you cant really say

It is more likely you will have a bad experience giving than receiving. A bad giving experience can turn you off of certain similar tasting or smelling foods for years.
A bad receiving experience can result in an embarassing scar.
I'll take receiving.

I think it's better to give because I feel better when I make others happy because I feel that they earn it and maybe one day they might remember to do the same to me. But it depends a lot on whom I am giving the gift.

for sure, bringing joy or relief to someone gives you much more than whatever they are getting. Its an amazing feeling that by doing something small you can make a person's day or change thier lives. AMAZING.

It is because the energy you put in giving comes back to you and you feel refreshed while thinking about the joy you are going to cause. At least I do.
