I suspect it wouldn't even appear in the news. The media seems to think we want to see more blood and gore, rather than positive news stories.

They've been. They've protested.
They protested after 9/11. A group of Islamic Scholars in Cairo condemned the perpetrators as unislamic and described their followers as apostate. The Sun didn't give it a mention.
They protested after the London bombings. The Sun had heavier matters on it's mind (and published a picture of them on page 3).
It doesn't matter how much muslims protest about the idiots who pevert the teachings of the prophet, the British media won't take any notice and the xenophobes will continue to claim all muslims are terrorists.

I'm sick to death of having to defend myself as an offshoot of extremist actions that I, and the majority of muslims, are fundamentally against. If we ALL joined forces, protested against terrorism and illegal war, then I'll be there with bells on.

I would just like to say that during the cartoons riot, my town had an anouncement or more of an order that no one was to attend this riot as we should stay calm. we did and no one went and didnt want to go.
Many white people do not realise this but there are sooo many muslims who do not believe and support the terrorists. Terrorism is not allowed in our religion. Terrorism doesnt come from a religion in comes from sickos twisted heads. mainly the sheas not sunnis.
I wish everyone would understand that theres a few bad apples in the tree and not all of the others are bad. Media has alot to blame for as they make all this sound really bad and plus the politics.
Leave them in thier sick world and we can live rightfully in ours. Why are there troops in Iraq? Where are the wmd? where is sadam? They wanted sadam and they have him so get out. Bring troops home where they should be.

I think if this did happen, terroists would realize most muslims oppose them, and knock sense into the extremeists. Then everbody realizes what they did was wrong. So yes, I am a muslim, and this would turn a chapter to the good in terrorism.

They shouldn't need to protest to change our views of them, we can't tar all Muslims with the same brush. With our current attitude towards them we are increasingly turning them against us almost as if they are second class citizens compared to Christian Brits. If we had a bit of faith in them as people and counted them as being individuals rather than "as one of them" they may be more willing to unite with everyone
